Hi! and thanks for my previous question.I have problem. I always hated bias. But I'm an atheist, and I have a friend who is WAY smarter than I am, and a very deep thinker, and he's also a Muslim. and I sometimes can't help thinking that it is highly unlikely for any religion to be true... and it leads me to think that his believes are silly in that topic, I feel like I'm dishonest about it... like thinking your friend is silly isn't good, what should I do? am I biased?

Well, I would say it’s fine to believe in just about anything, and I wouldn’t want to deprive your friend of the belief that his life makes religious sense, and that what his religion says is how it is for him. There is even the infinitesimal chance that he is right.

I’d just agree to disagree in the end, I think he was raised into those beliefs, and I think that when viewed from a distance they aren’t supported by solid evidence, and aren’t very probable to be true. But that doesn’t mean he can’t think otherwise.
