I personally think the evidence strongly suggests there is no creator, no god, at least not a conscious, sentient one that we can relate to, communicate with or expect anything from.
We don’t necessarily have to believe in something greater than our known universe, there are perfectly happy atheists just as there are perfectly happy Christians and people of other religions.
I’d say just make up your own mind, decide what you believe is most likely, and don’t dwell on it. Be at peace with the simple fact that we may never find out what the nature of reality is, or if we have a greater purpose, these questions are just intriguing at best, but not necessary to lead a healthy, happy existence.
Not knowing isn’t a curse, in my opinion, it just makes things interesting. :)
